COTTON/EMBROIDERY

To maintain the highest quality of our embroidered garments, turn items inside out before washing. Machine wash, on the delicate cycle, using cool water and mild detergent. Air dry or tumble dry low.

SILK

As a naturally delicate fabric, we highly suggest that you have your garment professionally cleaned. If you choose to wash by hand, always use cool water with a mild detergent made especially for silk as normal detergent can destroy the silk fibers. Silk Velvet and Silk Chiffon garments should always be professionally cleaned by a reputable dry cleaner.

LINEN

Linen is a natural fiber, known for its absorbency. Check care labels on linen garments to determine whether the garment must be dry-cleaned. If machine-washable, wash in cold water using the gentle cycle and mild detergent. Air dry, if possible, as a breathable natural fabric, it is pretty quick to dry this way, otherwise, tumble dry on low. If an iron is needed, do so while the garment is still damp.

RAYON

Handwashing is always the best and safest method for washing rayon. Add mild detergent to a wash basin or sink filled with cool water. Submerge the item and gently agitate the water with your hands to evenly distribute soap. Soak for up to 30 minutes then rinse well by running cool water through the item until the water is no longer soapy. Do not wring, instead press the water out of the item.

If you must machine wash, turn the item inside out, and place it in a mesh washing bag. Select the delicate cycle on the washing machine, and make sure the water temperature is cold and the spin is on low. Always air dry.

CASHMERE

The qualities that make cashmere precious also make it very delicate, so gentle handling is required to keep it looking its finest. Hand-wash in cold water, using a mild detergent. Allow the garment to soak for a minimum of 30 minutes. Rinse well with room temperature water. Lay flat to dry which may take several days. When storing, fold and lay flat. Never hang cashmere, as it will lose its shape.
