When it comes to giving back, October is all about thinking pink.  Since 1985, this month has been synonymous with breast cancer awareness, education and finding a cure for the disease that affects 1 in 8 women. What started with a simple signature pink ribbon that was originally given to the Race for the Cure runners back in 1990, has now blossomed into a whole rosy-hued cause with multiple ways to participate whether it’s with your time or your donation.

Second Row - Japer Scarf, Bed Of Roses, and Emilia Scarf.

To show our support, we’ve curated a collection of twelve of our signature silk scarves that all have a little (or a lot of) pink and we will donate 100% of sales to Susan G. Komen. In 2016, Komen announced their Bold Goal, which is to “reduce the number of breast cancer deaths by 50% in the US by the year 2026”. This will happen with research into finding a cure, funding education efforts that help with early detection and ensuring that people in treatment receive the care they need. So, we say slip into pink! Get a scarf for yourself and one for a friend, sign up for Race for the Cure near you or even organize your own fundraiser–every little bit helps and little by little, a little becomes a lot.
