HOW TO WASH A SILK SCARF
Always hand-wash scarves using cold water. Fill a bucket or sink with cold water and a low-alkaline detergent like Woolite. Gently swirl your scarf under water for two minutes, then rinse by submerging it in clean cold water.
Add a splash of vinegar to a basin of warm water to restore shine to faded silk scarves.
HOW TO DRY A SILK SCARF
Lay your scarf on a towel, then fold the towel in half and press down get rid of excess water. Then, air-dry your scarf by hanging it on a drying rack. Avoid drying your scarf outside, since the sun could fade the bold colors in your scarf.
If you wish to iron your scarf, do so only on the silk setting to avoid burning the material. It is recommended instead of ironing to use a steamer tool or setting on your iron.
