For two decades the Pantone Color Institute has been releasing their “color of the year” and each year their pick is regarded as a benchmark for trends in design and fashion for both the current and future seasons. This year’s sunny hue is called Living Coral and we’re already in love and completely on-trend with this warm shade. “Not only has it been all over the runways but coral is the perfect color for going into spring and summer,” says Theresa McAllen, our VP of Design, who also spends a lot of her time forecasting and traveling the globe for inspiration. “We’ve always loved this hue as it’s the perfect backdrop for our detailed prints and it pairs beautifully with whites, blues, and greens.”

Layer on this Light Orange

Pair the Lyon Jacket with the Kara Dress for pops of this citrus-inspired hue. Both pieces are crafted from lightweight silk twill and the silhouette of a cropped jacket with a maxi dress is perfect for day-to-night holiday dressing, just switch your casual slides for a strappy sandal to inject a quick shot of glam.

Pair Coral and Cream

“A light beige or cream is the perfect shade for warmer months and topping it off with some coral makes it a fresh, bold statement,” says Theresa. Here we’ve styled the Lola Wide Leg Pant with our Boho Tassel Blouse that features a jungle-inspired print and our other favorite coral accessory; a pop of turquoise.

Slip on a Sunny Side Look

Got a vacation planned? Make sure to pack the chic Paris Dress. “There’s just something about this coral shade that makes me think of walking on the beaches in Tulum, it’s casual but still effortlessly chic,” says Theresa. This pop-on tunic crafted from soft cotton and featuring artisan-inspired trims is playa approved.

Try a Patterned Pant

When the weather warms up, prints and pants get lighter, brighter and breezier. The Tura Wrapped Pant is crafted from a lightweight rayon and the predominantly coral print will pair perfectly with a simple tee, a bikini top or a chic kimono cover-up. Finally, nothing will showcase a perfect red pedicure than a leather slide and this orange hue on top.
